Hi Jocelyn,

This is great news!
I had given up on this after talking to UWL support and reading the UWL
limitations in note 794439.
As always, you're a great help!

Thanks,

Re Advance with Dialog and the UWL.

1. It still works if you are calling R/3 using WinGUI with your portal.
2. It works on the very latest releases if you are calling SAP using
SAPGUI for HTML. Curious but true... no doubt there have been some
advances in SAPGUI for HTML.

Thanks for the hint
Let me try this and see

	Hi,

I have just finshed doing something very similar.

The standard functionality provides a pushbutton to create an
attachment
(unfortunately not in UWL). If you can make it a business
procedure to have
the approver use this, then that would be the easiest and most
standard
	solution.

In my case, the reason for rejection had to be entered as a
mandatory
attachment. I made a copy of the decision step and added the
code to
automatically popup the creation of an attachment if the
decision result is
	Reject. Code calls method SOFM.CREATE

You can also consider using 2 steps (decision step + attachment)
and
continue with immediate dialog. This is a more standard solution
with less
codi! ng. Unfortunately doesn't work in UWL either.

Also, have a look at the Conditions tab on the task. Here you
can check
conditions before the workitem is set to sompleted. You can use
this to make
sure that the user has created an attachment before the workitem
is set to
completed. This is the more standard approach. You will have to
give the
user instructions on creating the attachment. (Or they'll think
workflow
doesn't work.) My client preferred the automatic popup with
prompt to create
	attachment.

Hope this gives you some ideas on how to resolve it.

	Cheers,

I would like to attach notes to a user decision
for a reject decision, the rea! sons involved and other data has
to be entered
	(mandatory) for a reject decision
What element or task is available?
