Missed Deadline messages not going to Lotus Notes

Yes or **** EVEN BETTER *** don't use simple deadline monitoring - use the modeled deadline monitoring outcome e.g. "Deadline reached" and then add a send mail step to the deadline reached outcome.

Missed deadlines are always a strange beast because they are a very special type of work item, and you only have limited control over them.

Better to send an ordinary email where you can control the texts, and they don't accidentally pass on access to the original work item.

Helene,

Report RSWUWFML2 (email notifications for work items) does what you need (using the Collective Message option). Unfortunately there is no option to be able to select sending notifications only for DL messages. In our case we only wanted notification for WIs but got an unexpectd bonus ;-)

You can probably create your own version of RSWUWFML2 for DL messages.

Subject: Missed Deadline messages not going to Lotus Notes

Hello Workflowers:

We are on 4.7 and all our mail notification messages rec'd in the Business
Workplace Inbox (Unread folder) are also sent to our Lotus Notes inbox.

I am trying to implement Simple Deadline monitoring, my problem is: all
mail notification for Latest start, Requested end and Latest end, for
missed deadline messages, are going to Business Workplace under the
"Deadline messages" folder only and are not going out to our inbox in Lotus
Notes.

We absolutely need to inform our users that they have missed the deadline
in their Lotus Notes (they never go to Business Workplace - we send them an
email with a link to MSS and they execute work items there).

Has anyone encountered that problem before and would have a solution as how
to have those types of email notifications sent to Lotus notes. I am
trying to avoid implementing modeled deadline monitoring as the workflow is
already very complex (I had to split it twice already because it was too
big).

Any idea would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
