- OL 363 ( Error in event receiver - "Invalid object type" )

Dear WUG,
SAP 4.6C / 620 Support pack 48.

Created object ZBUS_0001 from scratch with event"NUMBER_CHANGED".
Created change doc. object ZCHNG.
Registered the event...both"Publisher" and "Subscriber" OK.
Developed a simple workflow with activity to display this new object 
whenever a change doc is written for the ZCHNG.

Event tirggers in test ( SWUE ) only once and then the linkage gets 
deactivated.
I get the following error :

OL 363 ( Error in event receiver - "Element xxxx has invalid object type" ).

Where as the element xxxx in the container has the ZBUS_0001 assigned as 
object and it is set to import and mandatory.

Is there something I did wrong while creating a object from scratch ?

Who else can help me than WUG ?!?!
