Deadline Monitoring Message and Reporting

Hi Dale,

1) Ah the joys of new functionality. That's a new SBWP inbox feature for your delectation - it's automatic to highlight to users that their work item is overdue. It only shows on the preview.

Frankly I wouldn't worry about it - just consider it training - the point is its overdue.

If you are really stressed you can override it using your own custom work item preview but really that's serious overkill.

2) Generic Object Services or transaction SWI6 is what you want. Start with SWI6 - put in object type FIPP, use the option to enter your object key. Then it will show a summary of all workflows for that document.
If that works it means your workflow is hooked up to object type FIPP correctly, so you should be able to use the Generic Object Services button to get to the summary from transaction FBV3 for example. After you have entered your document number and displayed the document, look for a button in front of the transaction title "Display Parked Document: Overview"
- in their is an option for the workflow overview. If you can't see the button you should still be able to get to the menu option System > Services for Object.

P.S. It helps to tells us your SAP system and release when you are asking feature based questions as features change from release to release.

Subject: Deadline Monitoring Message and Reporting

I have 2 questions :

(1) We put in modeled deadline monitoring and it seems to be working fine.
My question is, there is a message in the inbox where we put in
text for that
partcular task, that is moving back and forth across the screen. I
do not
remember doing anything to put that message there, it just started
appearing
inside my original text, after we workflowed with modeled deadline
monitoring.
How can I get to that message to turn it off or remove it or change
the wording ?
The message appearing is "The following deadline was missed Requested
end".

(2) For parked documents (FIPP), is there anything available to specify
the object key
that will bring all container results. Mostly everything I see you
must know work item
number. I can do it now by matching object key to the instid field
off of sww_wi2obj
table and use that wi_id to go into the container read function
module. What else is
available ? Users are wanting to know current status of parked
documents based on
certain selection criteria, etc.. and the standard transactions like
swi2_freq, swi14, etc.
are not what they really want to use. They want some drilldown
capability to get to workflow
container, to see who approved, what status, etc ...
