WF-BATCH showing as the "last changed by" is causing us problem

(Almost) Everything is possible, but sometimes people don't like the consequences, other times they don't want to pay what it would cost. Everyone probably knows that "update table (sap_table) set (last_changed_by) = real_user_name where (t_table_key)" is a no-no, so that can not be considered an option.

If you can find the real name in your program, what's stopping you from modifying the standard code to find the "real" user if the recorded user is WF-BATCH? That is the only option I can think of. And this is where people sometimes don't like the consequences :-)
