sales order workflow help

Hi,

I have created a custom output type for capturing delivery block in a sales 
order.
now in the condition record if I use a Z Business object and an event, it is 
not triggering the output type. But if I use BUS2032 it is triggering the 
output type and creating the event. Can't we use custom business objects in 
output determination ----- workflows. Thanks for the help in advance.
