Jocelyn,

Thank you very much for the help. Mike was able to give me a hint, that I
was not starting the event. Now I have to figure out how to start the event
correctly.

I am adding his comments here. I do have to think about this for a while,
but any help would be useful.

Hi Klaus,

There are manyu ways to start a workflow, most transactions will publish
events which you can like to a workflow. Look in the event log (SWEL) for
the appropriate event - you may need to enable logging using SWELS.

Then, set up your workflow trigger under the header -> Start events.

If your application doesn't raise events, there is much info in the SAP help
on how to create custom ones.

Cheers

Mike

Did you check if it's sitting in the SAP Inbox and just hasn't been fired
out to Lotus Notes?

In which case you should set up transaction SO16 to forward messages to
user's home address or set up auto-forwarding.

Daniele,

Thanks for the response. WF-Batch has a sending e-mail address and it does
not even show in SCOT. But the activity after it is processed. That is the
strange part.

Hi Klaus,
I guess that emails are sended from workflow by the user WF-BATCH... has
WF-BATCH a sending mail address?!? Sometimes SAP needs it - we solve a
similar problem mounth ago and this was the solution!
Try even to check from SCOT transaction if output emails are to be sent.

Hi all,

I am having real problems to send a simple e-mail within my client's set up
from workflow.

I can send e-mails to my normal e-mail with the sap office function but with
work flow it does not even blink.

I have a triggering event and it triggers a work item nicely in the workflow
inbox. My e-mail in front of this activity, but it does not show in the log
at all.

Any ideas.

Thanks a lot.

Klaus
