Vijay, 
There's no equivalent "Universal Mailing List" for email. 

Either:
Send the mails directly to the user's email address

Or if they *really* don't have an email address:
Send "notifications" or "alert notifications" instead. 
Both of those will end up in the UWL inbox.  However this option is a
pain because it means changing your workflow design.

Yes, the UWL is the inbox - but only for work items, SAPOffice mails 
will not appear here.
