Limit the number of WF-BATCH processes

Indeed,

You can even set a system parameter to limit the number of
sessions.(system restart) Ask the basis guys... I knew it but have
forgotten the parameter name(at least I still remember there is one
...). Sorry,

Hi Sheldon,
I think your best bet is to talk to your basis folks, an option is to
try
to limit the servers that WF-BATCH can log on to using RFC destination
WORKFLOW_LOCAL_nnn. That way if things do go horribly wrong again at
least
it will be limited to one server and most users can carry on as normal.
