I did face similar situation. It was due to structural authorization. Do
you have structural authorization active?

If your Security team has checked that you have the same roles they should
also check that the roles contain the same authorization objects.

G'day Sue,

Always be wary about ruling out auth issues. Best to try the report with a
user that has profiles SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW.

Have fun,
Mark

I have an issue with this also. We are on 4.6C.

In the development box, I have the buttons to forward a workitem (using
SWI5
or SWIA), but when we moved to the QA box, I no longer have that
capability.
Security says they have ruled out that it's an authorization issue. They
took my userid in the test box and made a copy of it so the new one had
exactly the same things as my original UserID. When I tried to do it in
the
test box with the new test ID, I no longer have the ability to forward
workitems. They say that it indicates that there is a setting somewhere
that allows me this capability. I am set up as the Workflow Administrator
in both boxes, so I can't think of another setting that it might be!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi All,
SWIA and SWI2_ADM1 both contain the "administrator forward" function in
4.7.
Both of them also contain a "re-execute agent rules" function - i.e. re
run
the agent determination rule and assign the newly calculated agents to
active work items. Plus there are SAP_WAPI_ function modules for
administrator forward and reexecute rules as well.
As always, when you go to a new release - looking around to see what's
changed is a very good idea... Regards, Jocelyn

We are on 4.7 and these are the steps I take to forward a workitem (which
is
slightly different from what I did in 4.6C):

1. From SWI5, I pull up the workitem in question
2. On the "Activities" tab, I need to double-click on the description. In
4.6C, we were able to click once on it, click another option, and then get
the option to forward. This time, I need to double-click on the
description
which actually brings me into the document as if I am going to release it.
3. I back out of the document screen and am then given the option to
forward.

Don't know if that helps or not.

Hi Patricia,

We just got 4.7 as well and the only way I found to forward workitems is
with transaction SWIA. You have to know the workitem no, so I use SWI5 to
get the work item no. and then SWIA to forward it. If you find a better
way, please let us know.

Good luck!

Try clicking on the 'glasses' first and then the option to forward should
appear.
