I guess the point is you should be setting up your config settings up
front.
But yeah I agree.
You could try just deleting that user's personalization.

Hi Jocelyn,
It worked, Thanks very much,
but I thought deleting personalization means the personalized
settings done by each user,
I cannot do this every time when lot of ppl are using..am I
right or missing something!
Thanks again

Hi Krishna,
There's another option near the UWL clear cache ...
should say something like "delete personalizations of users".
Kill all personalizations, then clear the UWL cache
again, and the user should work from the current xml files again.

Subject: UWL Cache
Hi all,
I have been working with UWL and changing the
XML files, I had added a new button thru customized xml file ,
It worked fine, but after some time I removed the
customized xml file,
The user which I used to test UWL still displays
the button which I have included in the customised xml file,
all the other users dont display the customized
button(as they have been created after deletion of the customized xml
file).
I have tried removing the cache and even re
started the portal, still in vain.
I'm using EP6.0 SP2 (UWL without KM).
Thanks
-Krishna
