Filtering the UWL

Hi All,
 
 
 
Does anyone have filtered the completed task from the UWL ? I want to
restrict the number of items that it extracts from SAP, not the number of
item display which is a parameter of the view. I have notice in the DTD file
that there is a way of filtering but I was not able to create one. Does
anyone have an example?
