Workflow with Barcode

Hi, we are using ixos/entreprise scan. We are trying to do a wf with a
barcode retrieval.
 
Does anyone know if some documentation exists, like a step by step recipe,
about how to build a wf with barcode (explaining the oa* transaction and
barcode and image object). I read the Archive link help and I'm still not
able to make it works.
