Partner Processing for PM Notification

I assume PM is Plant Maintenance. Have a look at the standard workflows -
we use both PM Notification and Quality Notification with in one case just
a check function and in another case a modification where we replaced the
role.
 
Start by having a look at what is available in SWDM for application
component PM. WS00200065, WS00200074, WS00200075 and WS00200095 could
perhaps be appropriate for your needs. There are also some standard
single-step tasks for sending e-mail.

I am a WF Neophyte
 
I am wanting to sent and email to the Partner that has reported a problem
that is recorded in the PM Notification.
 
The partner type is PC (Prime Contact)
 
The example in SAP Workflow Management book is for CRM which we do not
have.
 
The partner table is IHPA.
