How can "Author" be displayed in the workitem?

Amit,
Time to explain to client that work items and emails are different and why... and the importance of correct audit trails, i.e. if the system sent it automatically to you it may be important to know that.
Then use virtual attributes and perhaps a dynamic column to add the workflow initiator to the inbox.
Wouldn't hurt to show them Generic Object Services, i.e. how to track the workflow themselves, or to make sure your subject texts and long work item texts reflect this information also.
Regards,
Jocelyn.

Subject: How can "Author" be displayed in the workitem?

Hello,

My client wants to see field "Author" populated (in the workitem) with the
name of person triggered the workflow. See screen shot. Does anyone has any
idea about this? Generally this field is populated for all "Mail Messages"
but this time the user wants it in the "Workitem".

Thanks & Regards
