Hi Jim,
 
When the first level approval is made, just keep the user who did it in a
container element and pass that back to the role 00000168 in its
binding... It should return the manager of the manager...

Rule using function module SWX_GET_MANAGER
 
I am using the rule 00000168 which takes a user and finds his or her mana=
ger.
using the function module SWX_GET_MANAGER.  This workflow is a 2 step
approval process and I need to find not only the initiator manager but hi=
s
managers manager. So I need to pass the first manager back to the workflo=
w
before going to the next approval step. Can anyone tell me if this is
possible ?
