Portal: SAP office mail and UWL

Hi Eric,
 
I don't think there is a way to get the SAP Office mail into the UWL.
As Michael discussed, we try very hard not to use SAP Office mail, and
send notifications to our internet mail (Outlook) instead.
 
Attachments to R/3 work items will not display properly from the UWL
unless you are running a back-end R/3 system on Web AS 6.20 or higher
AND have the Workplace Plug-In 6.0 installed on that system.  For older
systems, you have to either view details in SAPGUI to see the
attachments, or change the default behavior of the UWL for those
workflow tasks that rely on attachments so that they launch the WinGUI
rather than the miniapp or WebGUI.

We are on 4.7 with EP6.0. To allow the use of object-links in workflows
accessed through the portal, we have implemented the universal worklist
(UWL).
At the same time we want the users to be able to access there normal SAP
office mail inbox (not workflow). The question is: Does anybody know of
an
iview or a service which will display only the SAP office mails and not
workflow=3F If we use f.ex BWSP and UWL, the users will be confused and it
will
be random through which inbox they execute their workitems.
 
One more question. Has anybody used UWL with the attachment
=66unctionality
working properly=3F We cannot attach an office (Word etc) document to a
workitem. We are in dialog with OSS on this matter.
