Reporting on which agents released a work item

I've not tested this specifically in purchasing but give it a go.

If you have an approval method that is not dialog, then create a
standard task that is NOT background processing. If you put this task
in a workflow immediately following a decision step, check advance with
dialog and specify the person who made the decision as the agent for the
step. Then at runtime, after the decision is made, the approval step
"magically" executes without user interaction and you end up with the
correct approver ID stamped on it instead of WF-BATCH.

Subject: Reporting on which agents released a work item

We are currently using Workflow for purchase requisition approvals. Our
buyers have always been able to see in the purchase requisition who has
released the req by looking at Statistics - Changes. Now with Workflow,
this
just reads WF-Batch. Other than transaction SWI1, which may be too
technical
for the end user, is there any way to report on this? I'm assuming a
custom
report would be the way to go. Any info would be appreciated.

Karyn
