All,

The Call for Speakers for the 2004 ASUG Annual Conference is available. For those of you who've
been on the list for a while, you know that I always send out a plea for interested speakers to this
conference. While the Workflow/Webflow track is currently compiling a list of interesting topics
(which I will also post out to the WUG), you should also feel free to enter your own abstract, even
if it is not on a workflow topic (or especially if it is!). There are many rewards to speaking at
an ASUG conference, not the least of which is the opportunity to meet many other workflow experts
and share your real, hands-on, knowledge of the technology.

Please take a few moments to read the announcement below, and consider participating.
Feel free to contact me directly at keohan at ll.mit.edu if you have any questions.

Best Regards,
Sue

Call for Speakers
Submit your abstract today!

Submission deadline - Thursday, December 4, 2003.

The 2004 ASUG Annual Conference & Vendor Fair Call for Speakers is available! ASUG encourages you to
submit your abstract before the December 4, 2003 deadline. This deadline will not be extended, so do
not delay in submitting your topic for consideration.

As always, accepted speakers will receive a complimentary conference registration, gain company and
industry recognition, and take satisfaction in sharing knowledge with peers. Speakers will also
have the opportunity to earn SAP Customer Appreciation Program (CAP) points if their company is a
current participant in this program.

Key dates for the content selection process include:

     * December 4 - Deadline to submit an abstract to the Call for Speakers
     * January 26 - Acceptance notification
     * March 18 - Presentation uploads due
     * April 18-21 - 2004 ASUG Annual Conference & Vendor Fair in Atlanta, GA, USA

To better support the current business environment of member companies, ASUG has adapted the 2004
Call for Speakers. Educational sessions will be organized according to the following ASUG Business
Process areas:

     * Business Information, Technology & Infrastructure
     * Customer Management
     * Financial Management & Business Analysis
     * Human Capital Management
     * Implementation & Organization Management
     * Product Lifecycle Management
     * Supply Chain Management

In addition to the seven Business Process areas, ASUG is also accepting abstracts for
industry-focused topics, including the Consumer (Consumer Products, Retail, Apparel & Footwear
Solutions), Discrete (Aerospace & Defense, High Tech, Automotive), Process (Chemical, Mill Products,
Pharmaceuticals), Services (Service Providers, Media, Telecommunications) and Utilities Industries
and Public Sector (Government, Higher Education, K-12 Education, Healthcare), as well as educational
offerings of a non-SAP focus through a Professional Development track.

This year, Influence has been added to the Call for Speakers as a new abstract submission category.
  New to ASUG in 2004, this topic area was developed to capture all sessions relevant to the ASUG
Influence Model. Designed to help SAP and ASUG members work together to meet their mutual customer
business needs, submissions in this area should have the support of both SAP and ASUG. Abstracts
will be subject to review and approval by the ASUG Influence Committee. Any questions can be
directed to influence at asug.com.

Please note, you can either submit your abstract to the Special Interest Group (i.e. Procurement) or
Business Process (i.e. Supply Chain Management) depending on what is most appropriate for your topic.

Please contact speakers at asug.com with any questions.
