Hi Ute,=20

There are a number of opportunities for minimizing licence costs rather =
than minimizing users

Hello

I've configured some travel workflows at different clients and came to =
the
following conclusion. If every employee has to enter his own data, =
you'll
need SAP user id's for all of them.

At one client however we used another solution.
The secretaries of each division entered the data.=20
All mail notifications to the employees were sent to their Outlook mail
(entered in infotype 105). If you want to use the standard workflow
template, you'll have to modify the bindings since they relate to the
employee that is connected to the workflow initiator.

There are other solutions (e.g. create one user for entering data and =
give
this user info to all employees) but SAP won't allow solutions like =
this
since licences need to be paid for every user that uses SAP.

Regards
Sven

Hi all,

our company evaluates the possibilities to run workflow for travel
managment,
there are different solutions to discuss, one of them is SAP.
Thia seems to be preferable due to data being already in the system.

Today, my superior asked me, how the user managment has to be done.
As far as I know, every user who works with SAP needs his own userid.
In our case the user should type his travel data directly into the =
system
via an
Website.
The question is how userids have to be organized, is there a =
possibility to
to reduce the needed ids?

Helps highly appreciated 'cause I'm a bit at a loss.

thanx

Ute
