Deadline - waiting tasks

Another way is via SE37, SWW_WI_STATUS_CHANGE_NEW. Execute it and fill
in the WI ID, change status to ERROR. (Or you can write a little ABAP to
do this).
Than you can restart using SWI2_DIAG.
 
Can you see a trend.... we've all been there :-)
