Hi Christophe,
Thanks for the reply. If I was to send an email (and not a workflow item)
to an approver, who has no SAP user ID, and I want to send an invoice
image, would it be a link to the image, ie URL (which resides in the
content repository) or the image as an attachment.
Many thanks
John

Hi John,
It's true that you must have a SAP user-id to receive SAP workitem to your
inbox (Outlook or Lotus Notes). But you can send any mail messages form
SAP to non-SAP users and you can also attach the link or the image to the
mail. Be sure that your SAP system can send mail outside SAP !!!!

Subject: Approval
Hi all
I am setting up an Invoice approval workflow where the majority of
Approvers will be non SAP users. They will want to use Outlook as their
mail client, and be able to view the image of the scanned invoice from
their mail client and then reject or approve, i.e receive a SAP Workitem.
I believe that in order to receive a SAP workitem an approver would have
to
be a SAP user ?
Could a non sap user simply receive an email from within the SAP workflow,
but it would be for info only and not allow any approve / reject action ?
and no URL link to an image
Any advice on the approach would be welcomed.
Many thanks
John
