Hi Christian,
I have seen this done at an Australian site - it definitely works on an
R/3 system. System was 4.6C I think.

You don't need to copy the reports directly - better to analyze the differences
between RSWUWFML and RSWUWFMLEC and just bring over the essential parts.
You will also need to copy the code64 encode/decode function modules.

You can use a variant of RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL or alternatively use the standard
approach of creating a handling for receiving emails that process work items
using transaction SO28. Either approach works. S028 means emails are processed
immediately rather than periodically, but you need to read up and investigate a little
on how this works - best bet is to look at the standard work item handling object.

Good luck.

Subject: Copy of Offline-Approval from EBP to SAP

Hello,

does anyone tried to copy the offline approval functinality which comes with
EBP 3.0 (and higher) to a regular SAP system ?

We would like to use this offline approval functionality also for a regular
Workflow in the backend.

Any experience with copying the reports RSWUFMLEC and RBBP_OFFLINE_EVAL (and
the structues, etc.) ?

Do I need to consider something else ?

Thanks
Christian
