Determine when event is raised

Hi Fred,
If the event is used in a SAP provided workflow template then look in the
workflow scenarios doco in the SAP library help.
There are also some OSS notes that confirm how events are raised for a number
of objects. Searching for OSS notes using the business object id, e.g. BUS2032
for sales order, can be helpful.
Other than that, if the application creates change documents it probably uses
change document events, if the application uses status management it probably
uses that, if its a HR application look at the HR event tables, etc, etc.
If none of the standard approaches is used then sometimes their is special configuration
in the IMG (transaction SPRO) for that application.
There are documentation areas in SWO1 for detailing where and how the events
of a business object are raised, but this isn't always filled in.

Subject: Determine when event is raised

Hello,

Is there a way to discover when an event is raised in the application
other than trying to raise it and check the event log? Maybe there is an
easy way to check the code for events or maybe there is documentation
available?

Regards,

Fred Kouw
