New work item notifications in SAP

I am not really sure but I think there is a user exit that occurs when
someone logs on. The only problem is that you want to notify them only
if they have new work items since they last saw their Inbox. Not sure
how you are planning to do that. Maybe someone else has some better
ideas....

Hi all -
 
I was wondering if there is a way for users to be notified upon login to
SAP of new work items in their inbox.  I imagine it would work by
setting
all dialog steps to Express Priority and just letting the notification
window pop up that way, but I was wondering if there was also a
sapoffice
setting or something similar where you could get a notification window
upon
login to SAP.
 
If anybody knows, would you please pass the information along?
