SAP & CRM linkage for workflows

Ok Deanna,
Two major options:

1. Raise events remotely in the other system.

2. Use a programmed agent determination rule that uses RFC calls to the
backend
system to determine the appropriate agent.

Usually in EBP (which we all know is also CRM) I'm only interested in
determining
agents based on the backend org structures and option 2 is enough. You just
need
to make sure your rule calls some sort of routine in the backend that works
out
who is the agent and returns it as a Userid that you can match the EBP/CRM
userid to.

This works really well and it sounds like that's what you are after. It also
means
you don't have to copy the whole org chart across just for finding agents.

You can either remotely call HR evaluation path function modules such as
RH_GET_STRUCTURE
or call the RH_GET_ACTORS function module to evaluate a rule in your backend
or
create your own RFC routine in the backend that you call.

Sorry about not being more specific.

We are possibly looking at triggering a workflow from CRM to R/3. How does
the workflow continue from CRM to R/3 and matches up with the agents from
CRM to R/3. Does this mean we have 2 organisation chart that looks
identical between CRM and R/3?

Deanna.

Deanna,

I have a few remote WF for CRM to R/3 flows. Can you be more specific in
your requests?

Deanna,
You need to be a little more specific.
What sort of integration are you expecting to need?
Agent determination rules? Triggering of one workflow from another?

Hi

I would like to know how I could I integrate CRM workflows with R/3
Workflows? We might be implementing something similar to this if we know how
it could be done.

Would anyone be able to advise me how the linkage is done and what is
required( specific information needed)?

I appreciate any help you could give me.

Thanks.
