R: Workitems loses in Outlook

Hello Angelo,
SAP MAPI is a client from SAP point of view.
This means that when the user connects to Outlook, workflow messages =
are
downloaded in his local workstation.
After downloading, you still see your workitems in the user's =
workplace.
 
So also if you loose your normal messages, you will never loose your =
SAP
workitems, as these are treated locally and not through the mail =
server.

We are running on 4.5B.
 
 
We want to use SAP MAPI PROVIDER in order to execute workitems from
Outlook..
 
 
Unfortunately the mail server often is blocked and sometimes it loses =
the
messages.
 
Therefore, if a user loses its workitems in Outlook, it exists a way in
order to
recover from Sap these workitems?
