We were about to begin that project as well. However, we have decided =
to
wait until we upgrade to 4.6C because you may need a way to retrieve =
the
workflow log. For purchase orders, you have the ability to go to =
Header -->
Changes to see who has touched the document. Unfortunately, there is
nothing like that available for FI parked documents.

If you are already on 4.6C, there is the Archive Info System.

We have been on SAP since July 1999 (version 4.0B) and our workflow =
tables
are also extremely large.

Subject: Archiving/Deleting Work Items

Hello Everyone:

We are looking at possibly deleting/archiving work items in our =
production
system. This has never been done since 1996 and we have millions of =
work
items in different statuses. One of the options we are looking at is =
to
delete/archive all work items from 1996 through 2001 irrespective of =
the
status. Has anyone undertaken such an effort? I would really =
appreciate it
if you could share your experiences.

Thanks,
Jay Deena
