Gojoong,

the answer is as usual: "it depends".

The only thing that's physically stored with the work item is the REFERENCE
to the business object (i.e. information on object type + key). Please check
the table SWW_CONTOB for this.

When you check the work item data the system creates an business object
instance for you, pulling the data from the application tables. Thus if you
attach a material master, the business object BUS1001 pulls the data from
MARA, MAKT etc.

Kind regards,
Tomasz

Subject: Where the adhoc objects stored?

Dear workflowers,

We can bind adhoc objects in the step definition.
And of course the recipient can click the object link from his or her inbox
and navigate to the object releated screen directly.
At this point, I wonder where the adhoc object (link) stored?
Usally attachments are stored at SAPoffice folder.
These adhoc objects stored at SAPoffice folder also?

Regards,
Gojoong Kim
