Where the adhoc objects stored?

Dear workflowers,
 
We can bind adhoc objects in the step definition.
And of course the recipient can click the object link from his or her inbox and navigate to the object releated screen directly.
At this point, I wonder where the adhoc object (link) stored?
Usally attachments are stored at SAPoffice folder.
These adhoc objects stored at SAPoffice folder also?
