Question about replace functionality

G'day Tom,

When a workitem is created the system stores info not only about the
possible agents of the task but also the selected agents for the particular
workitem. A replace will make the workitem available only to those selected
agents rather than all possible. You can set up a very simple test to prove
this for yourself.

Have fun,
Mark

Subject: Question about replace functionality

Hi.

I have a question about how the replace functionality of the inbox works in
a particular case. The scenario i that a standard task will have three
organization structures or work centers defined as possible agents. In the
workflow one of these objects will be used as selected agents using an
expression.

The question is: when a user executes the workitem but does not complete
processing the workitem is reserved. Then what happens when the user
performes a replace? Will the workitem be available only for the users in
the object defined by the expression for selected agents or will the
workitem be available for all possible agents?

Regards
Tom Bakke
