Question about replace functionality

Hi.
 
I have a question about how the replace functionality of the inbox works in a particular case. The scenario i that a standard task will have three organization structures or work centers defined as possible agents. In the workflow one of these objects will be used as selected agents using an expression.
 
The question is: when a user executes the workitem but does not complete processing the workitem is reserved. Then what happens when the user performes a replace? Will the workitem be available only for the users in the object defined by the expression for selected agents or will the workitem be available for all possible agents?
