Casey,
How are you changing the Deadlines from 24 hours to 6 minutes? Last week I
was working on the same issue, what I used to was, when an workitem is
created I would go to edit mode and change Deadline form 72 hours to 5 min.
It does not matter if schedule the job very frequently.
Let me know if I am not clear.
