Standard Role 20000018

Has anybody used standard role 20000018 successfully?  This role is for
PM/SM work center persons.
 
I get role resolution errors when I try to use this role in my workflow. I
have setup several work centers but have assigned a responsible person to
only one of them.  I did this using the HR Assignment function within
transaction IR02.  The description for this role says "the integration switch HR-Logisitics must be set".  How can I check this?
