Setting Up Workflow

All,
I am new to workflow. I am trying to setup workflow for Incoming Purchase
Orders. We have 4 Customer Service Reps who have responsibility of several
customers individually. I like to setup the workflow so that when an order
fails, the only CSR that should be notified is the one that deals with that
account. Any suggestion would be really helpful. Thanks
