Creating attachment to a workitem

Hi Derek,
Ok, in 4.6C you need to pass the attachments to the multline container
element _Attach_Objects as SOFM object references.
SWU_START_WORKFLOW provides a table parameter called ATTACHMENT_LIST that
does that for you. You just have to provide the API1 details of the
attachment
specified in the parameter.
Function group SOI1 provides a number of function modules that can
help you get this info, e.g. SO_DOCUMENT_READ_API1
Regards,
Jocelyn.

Derek, You need to tell us what version of R/3 you are working in
as attachments underwent major changes between versions.

Subject: Creating attachment to a workitem

Hi all,

I have an ABAP program that starts a workflow by using
SWU_START_WORKFLOW.
How do I pass an attachment as an import parameter when starting
the workflow so that the attachment can be viewed from the attachments list
of the workitem.

        Thanks in advance,

        Derek
