Creating attachment to a workitem

Hi Derek,
Forgot to mention that automatic binding should take care of passing
the attachments from the workflow to the workitem in most cases,
as they both include container element _Attach_Objects. However
you can bind explicitly if you wish.

This is sometimes desirable e.g. for sending attachments on an email created
via
SELFITEM.SENDTASKDESCRIPTION step as this method uses a different
container element "Attachments" to pass attachments to the email.
Regards,
Jocelyn.

Derek, You need to tell us what version of R/3 you are working in
as attachments underwent major changes between versions.

Subject: Creating attachment to a workitem

Hi all,

I have an ABAP program that starts a workflow by using
SWU_START_WORKFLOW.
How do I pass an attachment as an import parameter when starting
the workflow so that the attachment can be viewed from the attachments list
of the workitem.

        Thanks in advance,

        Derek
