Workflow deadline

Hi Jocelyn and Peter,
Thanks for all the help. I did the following.
Using Model deadline monitoring wizard I created the
deadline monitoring. This wizard automatically gave
two paths for processing. One path is Latest end
reached as I have added the deadline for Latest end
and the other path was Processing obsolete.
1. Under latest end reached the wizard has updated the
necessary data to make the workitem obsolete. I didnt
not add any other step here.
2. Under Processing obsolete I added my steps to send
email and create new work item.

When I test the workflow the latest end reached event
is triggered and the work flow doesnot proceed to the
path 'Processing obsolete'. Do we need to create any
step or do anything for this path to get triggered. Do
I need to do anything else or I have done anything
wrong??
Also I notice that the workitem still remains in the
original agent's workflow inbox. Please help

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Brindha
