Office mail delete without viewing

This is more of a SAP Office issue, rather than Workflow - but I know that we
all have to get familiar with SAP Office when we involve ourselves with workflow
so I'm hoping somebody might know how to resolve my problem.
 
I have a workflow process on a 3.1i system which involves e-mails being sent and
received to an external Netscape system (via Sendmail). The workflow process
'pauses' once an e-mail has been sent out, and restarts when a reply is
received. This is handled by the SAP user having a work item waiting in their
inbox that they action when the reply is received in their SAP Office inbox. As
it happens, the title of the reply is enough to tell the user which work item to
action, so they don't actually have to read the contents of the e-mail. The
users would like to be able to simply delete the e-mails without reading them,
but SAP Office will not let them do that. I understand that this is usually a
good precaution to take - my question is: Is there a way of removing the need to
view an e-mail before deleting it? How is this achieved?
