For the approval levels, we created a sub type on the
method BUS2121 to include a z table. Our scenario is
cost center based and in addition to the cost center,
the table contains level one and level two.
For every level of approval, you will call the
shopping basket approval step. This is done because
the agents are added to an approval agent list that
gets passed to a sub workflow. In the event of a
rejection or deletion, the sub workflow will send
emails to the approvers.
 
In my customization, I also added condition steps to
evaluate if the initiator was one of the approvers.
If the condition was true, the approval state was set
to 0 = approved. The other condition checks for the
approver existing at any of the other levels to
eliminate duplicate approval emails.
