[mosh-users] Questions about mosh(1) and mosh futures

I have read the mosh.mit.edu web page and have a few questions about mosh.

1. Due to internal buffering constraints, scp(1) has very poor
performance over high latency (e.g. trans-oceanic) links. PSC has
patches to improve on this, but scp is still rather slow when latency
is high and may people arre unaware of the PSC patches. (The PSC
patches are now standard on FreeBSD.)

Does or will mosh(1) provide file copy capability similar to scp/sftp?
If so, will it have be likely to perform better than scp/sftp?

2. Does/will mosh support PKCS11 for public key authentication. We use
SmartCards for two-factor authentication and ssh (OpenSSH) supports
this.

3. Any thoughts about a Windows client?

4. You mention that X tunneling is being worked on, but not yet ready.
What about the general tunneling capability (-L) in ssh?

Thanks!
