Hi Andrew,
What you're seeing is that mosh is waiting for one of its predictions to
be confirmed (this is your first one or two characters) before it has
enough confidence in its predictions to show you the rest.
I think there is some work to improve this, but it still will require at
least one RTT after your first character.
