Greetings!

For our September meeting, Oliver Thomas of IS&T has generously
volunteered to provide a presentation on Nokia N95.

Nokia N95 is one of the most advanced mobile device that has been
available in Europe for the past few months. It features a number of
features that goes above and beyond what most mobile devices offer in
the U.S. market today.

Here are some of the features that might be of interest:
- Built-in GPS
- Built-in Wi-Fi
- Full Web Browsing with Certificate support (X.509)
- 3G Support (in Europe)
- 5 Megapixel camera with LED Flash
- VGA output (you can make presentations right from the device to a
projector)
- Multimedia applications
- External memory card support
- 3.5 mm headphone jack

In a nutshell, N95 is a precursor to what's to come in the mobile
devices for the U.S. market in the next year or so.
(Note: IS&T does not recommend nor support Symbian devices at this
time, including the Nokia N95. This presentation is intended for
informational purposes only on what advanced mobile devices such as
N95 might bring to the mobile device market in the near future.)

The meeting will be held at N42 Demo Center on 9/21 (Friday) 2 pm. I
will also be available to answer any mobile device questions that you
may have after the presentation.

I look forward to seeing you then!

Andrew
