Sofie R Kleppner, PhD
Associate Vice Provost & Associate Dean for Postdoctoral Affairs
Stanford University
About the speaker: Dr. Kleppner is the Associate Vice Provost and Associate Dean for Postdoctoral Affairs at Stanford University, where she and her team support professional development, policy, and administration for 2600 postdoctoral scholars. She received her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania, completed her postdoc at UCLA, and worked in biotech before returning to academia. Dr. Kleppner’s interests include design thinking, mentoring, writing, and conflict navigation.
