Aeronautics and Astronautics Department Tour!

We’re kicking off a new series of department and lab tours across MIT to discover what’s happening in our various buildings, learn about research in other fields, and connect to people across campus. This first event on November 18th, 2024, at 3 p.m. is a tour of the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the intersection of Mass Ave and Vasser St. (Buildings 33, 35, 37, 31, and 17). Be excited to learn about the Wright Brothers Windtunnel, the AeroAstro Workshops, the indoor drone range, and much more.

Date: Monday, November 18th
Time:  3 p.m.
Where: Outside In front of Building 17 (West of Building 31)
Duration: ~ 1 hour
Capacity: ~ 20 (depending on sign-ups, we might open a second tour at 4 p.m.)

Postdoc Buddy Program

The October/November postdoc buddy program chapter is coming to an end. Many postdocs were able to share a coffee break, meet new people, and expand their network. Registration for the next chapter of the buddy program will open in January of 2025, so stay tuned.
