Calling all MIT Postdocs!

Applications for the Spring 2025 session of the Teaching + Learning Lab’s Kaufman Teaching Certificate Program<https://tll.mit.edu/programming/grad-student-programming/kaufman-teaching-certificate-program/> open Wednesday, November 13 at 12 noon. Anyone interested in improving their teaching practice is encouraged to apply!

This engaging and interactive workshop series is intended for graduate students and postdocs interested in careers in the academy or looking to develop skills to support their teaching at MIT. Upon completion of all workshops, associated homework assignments, and two microteaching sessions, participants will receive a certificate and letter of completion from the Vice Chancellor for Undergraduate and Graduate Education.

The application includes the following two short answer questions (with a 1500-character limit):

  * Describe your teaching responsibilities in the next two semesters. (If applicable)

  * In addition to learning about teaching practices in general, what are two specific goals that motivate you to apply for this program?

You may wish to draft answers before beginning your application.

Applications will close at 11:59 pm ET on Monday, December 2. All sections will be in person. To apply, visit our event page<https://tll.mit.edu/event/sp-2025-ktcp/>.
