Good afternoon,

I wanted to make you aware of an upcoming course that may be of interest to many of the post docs at your institution. The course, sponsored by Harvard Catalyst, is called Effectively Communicating Research and designed for fellows and junior faculty to understand how and why to effectively communicate your research through a variety of platforms. A flyer is attached the attached and a course description can be found below.

Effectively Communicating Research
November 5 & 7, 2018
A two-day course designed to provide fellows and junior faculty with the skills necessary to express their science clearly to diverse audiences.
Application closes September 7, 2018

This course is tuition-free for Harvard affiliates, as well as affiliates of members of the national Clinical Translational Science Award (CTSA) consortium, including Boston University. Please note that as of May 1, 2018, MIT is no longer a member of Harvard’s CTSA network, but has now joined the Tufts CTSI. MIT faculty and trainees remain more than welcome to apply for Harvard Catalyst courses; they will, however, be subject to the prioritization and any applicable fees of an external applicant. Eligible unaffiliated applicants may be accepted for a fee; please contact us<mailto:ECR at catalyst.harvard.edu> for additional details.
