Subject: Deadline tomorrow: Register to the AWIS 2018-2019 mentoring program!

The Massachusetts chapter of the Association of Women in Science (AWIS) has been running the mentoring circles program for 10 years. In this program, mentees in the early stages of their scientific career are matched into groups of 4-6 mentees, and with 1-2 mentors who are experienced professionals in both academia and industry.

 The mentoring circles program takes place from September 2018 to May 2019, where each circle meets once a month. It offers an excellent opportunity to learn more about career management, personal and professional development, and forming a network of both peers and more experienced professional.


Mentees and mentors are matched according to their mentoring goals, professional and academic background, and other factors, as listed in the application form:

MIT is an affiliate of AWIS, and MIT students and postdocs do not need to pay for the national AWIS membership.
