Welcoming participants for 2018! Application opens December 1, 2017.

Join us in the new year for our 5th Mentoring Program! Mentors are important sources of information and guidance for your career advancement. We have gathered an outstanding group of seasoned mentors who are excited to help you.

There are a wide range of areas where mentors can help:

·         Providing tips on how to be promoted in your job

·         Navigating a workplace conflict/politics

·         Issues specific to women, for example: How can women get recognized for their strengths when they are less likely to speak up?

·         Providing personal stories about how they overcame challenges

·         Giving advice about how to buy a suit

·         And more!

Program timeline:


December 2017:

·  We're currently accepting the applications from December 1st through December 15th. Please fill out the application<http://bit.ly/2AvhnDl> to be considered for the program.  We will match you with a mentor based on your application. Prior to January 2018, the email will go out to the applicants that are accepted into the 2018 Mentoring Program.


January 2018:

·  If you received an acceptance email in December, please be sure to register via Eventbrite (payment link will be provided separately for the applicants that are accepted into the program, stay tuned!).  The fees will be $35 for students/postdoc and $50 for professionals. If the payment is not complete by January 4th, the opening spot will go to the next applicant.  Please be sure to register timely.


·  We will have a meet and greet with the mentors and mentees at Broad Institute on January 16th.  Please note, this is an invite-only to those applicants who will be participating in 2018 Mentoring Program.


February through May 2018:



·  Groups meet in-person or over Skype at least once a month with the mentors as well as opportunities to network with the mentees in other groups.  The details will be provided to you at a meet and greet on January 16th. Please stay tuned!


This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for women in the Boston area. Mentees with our program have made leaps in their careers and personally, such as reaching their dream jobs, finishing dissertations, and gaining confidence overall.
