[Macpartners] Powerbook Display problem

Is this one of the "aluminum" powerbooks? If so, there was a bad run
of those which had screen problems that match what you're describing.
Those bright dots of light will get bigger over time. I can't seem
to find the info right now, I know it was on Slashdot and a couple of
other sites. Regardless, give Apple a call ASAP - they can tell you
if your powerbook was one of the bad ones and replace the screen for
free. I had this problem with my G4 15" AlBook, as did someone else
in my group, and that solution worked for us.
